Welcome to Rolling Hills Estates

Charming and picturesque community in the heart of the upscale Palos Verdes Peninsula

Just outside of greater Los Angeles and in the heart of Palos Verdes Peninsula lies one of Southern California’s most charming equestrian-centered communities. Rolling Hills Estates offers homeowners a charming countryside lifestyle just minutes away from the numerous advantages of LA. With numerous protected green spaces, parks, trails, and miles of pastoral scenery, this elegant and peaceful community offers residents a true rural oasis.

Originally part of Rancho San Pedro, Rolling Hill Estates was eventually incorporated as Los Angeles’s 60th municipality in 1957. Since then, the area has maintained its small-town charm and equestrian atmosphere. Most homes sit on sprawling properties often encircled by three-rail white picket fences. Property styles can range from stunning Spanish colonial haciendas to modern and luxurious condos and charming townhomes. The community as a whole is entirely committed to maintaining the elegant, country-style lifestyle, preferring to keep most shops and restaurants to a designated sector and allowing the natural beauty of the surrounding area to thrive on its own.
