Welcome to Hermosa Beach

Beautiful and vibrant coastal community just outside of Los Angeles.

Just outside of Central Los Angeles lies the charming and idyllic small-town community of Hermosa Beach. Known for its incredible year-round weather, breathtaking beaches, and vibrant community, this neighborhood is one of the most desirable in Southern California.

Originally a rural and agricultural area, the pastures of Hermosa Beach began seeing development in the early 1900s, and in 1907, it became the 16th official city to be incorporated into Los Angeles County. Since then, the town has built up a thriving coastal community and residential area, with a thriving entertainment scene, outstanding dining opportunities, and world-class beach bars.

Young families are especially drawn to the area for its family-friendly atmosphere. In addition to having some of the highest-rated schools, there are also several recreational activities and designated children’s areas in the neighborhood that make it the perfect place to raise smaller children.
